[CMA-L]

The Ideal Candidate

A passion for radio and a love of music - whatever kind you're into is what
we are looking for.

Whether you're a massive Radio 1 and 1Xtra or more of an occasional
listener you need to have an awareness of Radio 1 and/ or 1Xtra’s output
and it's presenters.

You need to be interested in popular culture and what young people are
doing where you live.

You’ll need to have creative ideas about how digital and social media can
be incorporated into our radio broadcasts.

All applicants need to have good IT and internet skills. Previous
experience of radio and/or music, however small, would be useful as is a
solid understanding of social media.

Placements are open to those aged 16 and over and the placement dates are
from *13th to 17th April.*
