WORKING WITH THE BBC
(Booking essential as places are limited)

Many community media organisations already work with the BBC at local
level. The CMA is working on a protocol for 'engagement' with the BBC
which will bring benefits to community groups but ensure that our
distinctiveness and independence is protected. As requested by
members at the CMA's AGM last year, a joint meeting between community
media station managers and BBC local managing editors has been
arranged to discuss a draft protocol.

To book your place at this meeting, email your details to
agm at commedia.org.uk by 31 October 2005. We will contact you to
confirm your booking and send out additional details.
