DETAILS OF A LIVE WEBCAST PANEL DISCUSSION PROGRAMME ON 209RADIO IN
ASSOCIATION WITH CAMBRIDGE ARTS PICTUREHOUSE CINEMA

The Arts Picturehouse regularly receives questions about how it
functions, from queries on screening policy and the length of film runs
to the annual film festival and price of tickets.

To help answer some of these queries and any more that may be out
there, the Arts Picturehouse is joining forces with 209radio,
Cambridge’s art and community radio station, to hold a special
'Question Time' edition of the station’s monthly movie review program,
Bums on Seats.

A cross section of Picturehouse staff and others will make up a
special panel for the public debate, which will be streamed live over
the internet on www.209radio.co.uk, and available as online sound
archive after the event.

Currently and since 2003, 209radio is an internet-based non-profit
community broadcast initiative which has applied for a 5 year Community
Radio FM licence for Cambridge.

Situated in the heart of the beautiful university city of Cambridge, the
Arts Picturehouse is a unique three screen cinema dedicated to showing
the best in current, classic, independent and foreign language releases.
Regular customers enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere, whether
watching a movie or spending time in our art deco cafe-bar. The site has
traditionally been a cinema, and the Picturehouse is proud to be
continuing the very strong tradition of cinema-going that is a key
feature of Cambridge life, as well as hosting the annual Cambridge Film
Festival, one of the UK's longest running and best respected festivals.

This live broadcast will take place in the Picturehouse bar 11am - noon
on Saturday 5th November and anybody who would like to attend and put
questions to the panel is welcome. The event is free, simply send an
e-mail to cinema at 209radio.co.uk to book your place. Hurry, as spaces for
the show are limited by the size of the bar area.
