The Global Community Links programme is funded by the Department for
National International Development (DFID) and managed by the British
Council, the Institute of Community Cohesion, the Inter Faith Network
for the UK and VSO.

The programme aims at develop the understanding of global development
issues and funds community groups in the UK which have a link with a
community group in a developing country. Faith groups, community
groups, local government, business and charitable organisations are
eligible to apply.

Global Community Links can help you:

* Understand more about global development issues.
* Make connections between your community and others.
* Explore how global issues have a local impact.

Global Community Links offers:

* Online support, advice and ideas for every stage of your Link journey.
* Newsletters and resources to inspire your Link.
* Workshops to activate your Link, to share experiences with others
and to get to know other people involved in Linking.
* Resources to help you evaluate your successes.

Funding for your Link - Grants to help you:

* Strengthen your global Link.
* Learn and share knowledge about global development issues.
* Involve other people and other community groups in your Link

Who’s it for?

If your community group is in touch with a community group in a
developing country and you're interested in working together to learn
more about global development issues, Global Community Links could be
for you.
