Hiya Marilyn,

I would say I do understand your perception of awards.. I would like to
correct certainly with my community radio awards that we have tried to tone
down the glitz and glamour (well never having it in the first place) to
make them not only affordable but also accessible and engaging to all.

As for receiving nominations or awards, we have a lot of feedback of the
positive impact that it has, engagement with local communities, recognition
of projects and work etc.
