Some interesting changes to our favourite funder - new guidance notes and
application forms now available.
The form has fewer questions and some new priorities:
- bring people together and build strong relationships in and across
communities
- improve the places and spaces that matter to communities
- enable more people to fulfil their potential by working to address
issues at the earliest possible stage
There are also new things now eligible for funding - *staff costs and
running costs were previously excluded but are now OK*.
Also, you need to send bank details in with the application not after
assessment.
Amount of grant remains the same (£300 - £10,000), and as before you can
apply at any time. The previous limit on repeat or funding (smaller groups
only) has now gone - anyone can ask for repeat funding of activities.
It's fine to still complete the old forms for the time being, but there
will be a cut-off date announced.
