[cma-l] Funding News - Community Business Fund (UK)

Morning

I suggest that projects that have previously submitted do so again
addressing the feedback that they have been given.

Hopefully resubmission will not be as onerous because the bulk of the work
has been done.

Funding is very tough and competitive but the CMA has met with The Power To
Change and by us explaining to them about our sector, this may have opened
up access to funds a little bit more.

I know of at least one community radio station that has received funding
from The Power To Change since the CMA met with them - so the door to
community radio, as far as I am aware, is not "firmly shut".

The next funding round has not yet been officially announced but time could
usefully be spent now reviewing what they need in readiness for when it
does open in the summer.

We will announce details of the next Power To Change Community Business
Fund on this list and on social media.

All the best for now
