Ofcom today published its 2016/17 Annual Plan, outlining its programme of work for the next financial year.

Ofcom’s goal is to make communications markets work for everyone. To help achieve this, Ofcom has three main objectives: to promote competition and ensure the markets work effectively for consumers; to secure standards and improve quality; and to protect consumers from harm.

The Annual Plan follows consultation with a wide range of stakeholders and consumers, and builds on plans established through Ofcom’s Strategic Review of Digital Communications.

In addition, Ofcom has published details of its budget and funding for 2016/17.

Ofcom has also today published a statement on its regulation of on-demand programme services (ODPS).

Ofcom yn cadarnhau ei gynllun gwaith ar gyfer 2016/17 a gweithdrefnau ar gyfer gwasanaethau rhaglenni ar-alwad.

Heddiw, cyhoeddod Ofcom ei Gynllun Blynyddol ar gyfer 2016/17, sy’n amlinellu ei raglen waith ar gyfer y flwyddyn ariannol nesaf.

Nod Ofcom yw sicrhau bod marchnadoedd cyfathrebiadau’n gweithio i bawb. I helpu i gyflawni hyn, mae gennym dri phrif amcan: hyrwyddo cystadleuaeth a sicrhau bod y marchnadoedd yn gweithio'n effeithiol i ddefnyddwyr; sicrhau safonau a gwella ansawdd; a diogelu defnyddwyr rhag niwed.

Daw'r Cynllun Blynyddol ar ôl ymgynghori ag ystod eang o randdeiliaid a defnyddwyr, ac mae’n adeiladu ar gynlluniau a sefydlwyd drwy Adolygiad Strategol Ofcom o Gyfathrebiadau Digidol.

Mae Ofcom hefyd wedi cyhoeddi ei fanylion cyllido a’i gyllideb ar gyfer 2016/17.
