[cma-l] Community Radio and Station Imaging (CSR)

"The People's Radio"? Though I'm not sure I like that at all.

Having followed this thread since the start I think there has been
misinterpreted, albeit a little unclear at first but a lot more transparent
now. I see the idea to be something along the lines of a quality mark, a
stamp on the station's imaging output - however small - that ties us all
together. For CSR - and I'm sure many other stations too - we wouldn't look
to embed anything across all our imaging.

On the contrary, the odd 5 second sweeper that plays 1 or 2 times a day max
I think has a nice touch to it. Something so minute wouldn't take away from
our overall sound, provided we had different styles like Pippa suggested.
If any script/lyrics did feature, why not something original or abstract to
mask any accent - recorded in whatever languages are needed.

Food for thought.
