Dear all
There is an opportunity for UK-based rural
community radio stations to take part in a one
day seminar in Bordeaux to exchange experience
with European rural community radio stations.
The event takes place on 8 November, outline
below. There is some European funding support
available towards the costs of travel and
accommodation. If you are operating a rural
community radio station and are interested in
taking part please contact me for further details.

Grundtvig Seminar
Associative Radios of Europe in Rural Environments
Objective:
To get to know each other and exchange ideas and
best practices between radios from different
European countries, all working in rural
settings, in order to enhance and improve cooperation.
Means :
The seminar to be held is within the framework of
the Grundtvig program for « Contribution to the
development of an active network of community
radio stations across Europe » led by Near FM
Dublin (Ireland), and there will be a preparatory
visit for future Grundtvig project partners of
the project entitled Associative Radios of Europe in Rural Environments

Tuesday 8 November 2011
Bordeaux, France
Participants :
12 to 15 people from Spain, Ireland, the United
Kingdom, France as well as guests from other
countries whose relevance and potential
contribution to the discussions will be
identified in the coming months. The meeting is
also open to a wider range of participants who
are rural radio stations and who would be
interested to join the seminar (within the
framework of preparatory visits, either at their
own cost or with particular funding.)
