You can now nominate your Lottery-funded arts project for this year's
National Lottery Awards.

Lottery players raise £28 million each week for projects all across
the UK, and the awards are a great way to highlight how that funding
has changed the UK for the better.

Now in its eighth year, the awards recognise the incredible difference
that Lottery-funded projects make to people, places and communities
all across the UK. Since The National Lottery began in 1994, over
350,000 grants have been given out across the arts, sport, heritage,
charities, health, education and the environment.

There are seven categories reflecting the main areas of Lottery funding:

• Best Arts Project
• Best Education Project
• Best Environment Project
• Best Health Project
• Best Heritage Project
• Best Sport Project
• Best Voluntary/Charity Project

Your project could be featured in a special awards event broadcast
across the UK on BBC One, and there is a £2000 cash prize to spend on
your project if you win.

The deadline for entries is 8pm, Friday 18 February. For further
details or to enter online, please visit The National Lottery Awards
