[cma-l] ISP for web streaming?

Dear All,

I'm looking to get a better deal from our ISP (currently Easynet) as we are
still paying the SDSL rates from 2003! I wonder what experiences other CMA
member had had with using off the shelf broadband (either business or
consumer) to maintain their web stream? I'm concerned that although many
ISPs quote an upload of say 2mbits, what does this translate to in practice?
