I think it also depends what you include in the term "community radio" eg
the   social gain elements...

As well as your broadcasting your running community development, community
cohesion activities and events, running training for NEETS etc and more then
why shouldnt the station be on the same standing as any other charity
or charitable / not for profit organisations..

Its a very slippery slope to even be considering comparing one organisation
against another, and why I (as I have said before) not really in favour of
everyone gets an equal share, as not all community stations are equal..
