They're certainly not all equal when it comes to doling money out .... !
nuff said .... Which again backs up my argument. If we were equal all round
then the end result would be the same.

We all have key commitments, we all plo ;w our mo #ney back into the project
and as Martin quite rightly points out we do the NEETS stuff etc etc
if someone ain't doing that, then the rules are being broken and it's time
to get off the train.

Our door is open to anyone and everyone and we can prove it, so we tick all
the boxes on that one as well ..... we get frustrated with the ethnic
minority debate. Basically, there are none in North East Cheshire!
apart from a small Polish community. Having no ethnic minorities in ones
area is not a crime and should not have any baring whatsoever on judgements
.... I won't say anymore, I'll leave it up to you and your thoughts, it is a
subject that apparently we darn't talk about, speak about or write about
.... it doesn't worry me, because I treat all men and women as equals . my
conscience is clear.

With the best will in the world we can't invent people and we don't have a
people tree in the garden.

We do what we do with the card that has been dealt and the geographical area
that we live in. All people in this Country, indigenous, foreign, different
religion have a right to belong to a community, it is not just something
that certain groups can call their own.

Regards

Nick we all have the same goals
which technically are dictated by 'community radio' so = WE ARE all the
same ! simples !

I think it also depends what you include in the term "community radio" eg
the social gain elements...

As well as your broadcasting your running community development, community
cohesion activities and events, running training for NEETS etc and more then
why shouldnt the station be on the same standing as any other charity or
charitable / not for profit organisations..

Its a very slippery slope to even be considering comparing one organisation
against another, and why I (as I have said before) not really in favour of
everyone gets an equal share, as not all community stations are equal..

Dear All

I think the point I am trying to make is this ..... with the best will in
the world if a we are up against a cancer charity or a festival that raises
money each year for children with down syndrome then you can bet your bottom
dollar we will finish a poor third, languishing way behind on the votes
and may I say quite rightly so.

That is why I believe in fair distribution so that everyone gets the same.
There could of course be two tiers with those above being on a higher tier
than the likes of community radio.

Just a thought that's all ..... then again I could be once more viewing this
from the wrong end of the drainpipe ?!

Regards

Nick

NatWest Community Force

NatWest has made a commitment to help the communities in which it works
through its Customer Charter. The result is Community Force which is
building on the foundations laid by the previous Community Fund.
Financial assistance is available to help those causes and charities
that make a difference in the local community in England and Wales.
Applications should be made by registering the project online at the
Community Force website

http://communityforce.natwest.com/

In September everyone will be able to vote for their favourite projects.
The three projects with the most votes in each Community Force area
will win the awards.
