[cma-l] Radio Player and community radio

Dear all

We hope you are glad that our behind the scenes work has meant that access
to the Radio Player portal for community radio is at a much reduced price
(initially the BBC were saying it would cost the sector more than £300 per
annum).

You should bear in mind though that Radio Player is NOT a streaming service
- the BBC has no intention of putting streaming providers, which of course
includes the CMA's Canstream service, out of business.  Radio Player is an
internet portal only.
