ENYAN (English National Youth Arts Network) is delivering this event in
partnership with Action Transport Theatre, to present vital information
on e-safety and the use of social media when working with young people.
This event aims to raise awareness and increase knowledge and
understanding of e-safety and best practice when involving social media
during youth arts projects.

In this age of technology and viral social media, organisations working
with young people continually need to remain up to date with legislation
and regulation regarding child online protection and e-safety. This
event will provide an overview for safeguarding young people in the arts
during the use of the internet and social media.

It will present examples of how to engage young people through digital
and social media and the creative benefits and outcomes that this can
have upon a youth arts project.

Most importantly, this event will feature case study examples of best
practice when applying online child protection in direct delivery
projects and in regards to internet safety. During the seminar there
will also be opportunities for discussions and debate.

As with all ENYAN events, this half day seminar will be an excellent
networking and learning opportunity for youth arts sector professionals
in the North West.

Light refreshments and information packs will be provided for all attendees.

To book your place, please complete the online booking form via:

North West Regional Advisory Panel.

for any cancellation is expected. Spaces will be provided on a first
come, first served basis.

Best Wishes,
