I wonder if anyone can help with a query regarding how much it costs
to purchase a record library and playlist for a playout system

When I established GTFM in 2001 I basically had to build this up from
scratch ( and at considerable cost in terms of buying CDs). It
therefore took years to build the library/playlist up into anything
half decent

In its application form for a community radio licence OFCOM includes a
separate item listing for the cost of the record library in the budget
so was wondering if anyone has any experience of this and knows what
kind of cost we would be talking about for purchasing a library of say
6000-8000 songs and playlists?
