I don't know where Siôn Simon gets the information in that Statement, but the wording "small community radio stations, which might currently be able to broadcast for only two weeks a year" betrays a poor comprehension of current practice.

It's meaningless flannel as far as I'm concerned, and should be vigorously questioned.

If we're going to get a Statement, let's insist on it being authoritative and useful.
