[cma-l] Charity Status

We operate very successfully as both a Charity and as a Company Limited
by Guarantee.
Operating budget of over £500,000 per year - secured by and large due to
our Charitable status.

We're not VAT registered though (which is one of the only problems that
I have found).

We're looking to establish a Social Enterprise that will operate at arms
length from the charity which will be VAT registered and will reinvest
profits back into the charity.

Hope this helps

Murray
