I'm afraid my experience with recordable CD's has not been good.
I used to work for a commercial production company a few years
ago, and most of the CD's recorded around 2001/2002 have lost,
or are losing, their content.
On the other hand, open-reel recording tape from over 20 years ago
is fine. Doesn't say much for todays digital heaven.
