It's finally here!

Life FM's Guinness World Record attempt for the Longest Continuous
Radio Broadcast starts this Thursday 10th April at 4pm! Life FM's DJ P
is energetic and ready to go on for the full 136 hours in what will be
the longest ever radio show in history!

DJ 'record breaking' P has been preparing for this attempt for months
and has already broken the local record of twenty-four continuous
hours - without any sleep - to warm up for the event.

Staff at Life FM hope that the attempt will raise the profile of
community radio in the UK; draw positive attention to the thriving
community of Harlesden and Stonebridge.

We will have exciting guests and lots of wonderful giveaways. Show
your support, he sure will need it! You can listen live on Life FM
103.6 FM or http://www.lifefm.org.uk/ and show your support!  It will
also be really interesting to hear what he'll be sounding like after a
couple of days without sleep!

With potential audience of hundred of thousands (on 103.6 FM all over
Northwest London and around the world on http://www.lifefm.org.uk/ )
during the attempt - Life FM is inviting
all individuals and community organisations to send us anything they
would like to promote - events, courses, music, anything! All
absolutely FREE of charge. All you have to do is send us information
on A4 document or call the studio (number below) to arrange a live
interview.

The current holder of the record is Italian Stefano Venneri for 135
hours - we need to bring this back to the UK.

The Guinness World Book of Records attempt is supported by The
Neighbourhood Renewal Team for Stonebridge and Harlesden and will be a
key feature of their 'Love Where You Live 'campaign.
