Hi Tony

The CMA has had some email problems in the last 24 hours and I have
only just got a new email server back online so I'm not sure if our
emails are in or out of synch - I will assume nothing!

The feedback on a content syndication platform?

Yes, so that's why we have launched the Getmedia platform - available at:

http://www.canstream.co.uk/getmedia/

With Getmedia anyone can have a username/password and upload their
media files. Other stations can rebroadcast the audio or users can
download the content as a podcast. Video files can also be posted to
Getmedia. Subscribe to the media RSS feed with this link:

Hope you like what we have done so far. We will change the site
template a little to reflect the CMA branding - but the site is there
for everyone to use!

Peter Vautier of London Huayu Chinese Community Radio has already been
in touch to say that he will be submitting another scoop about
Thursday's incident in Soho - so please check the site to hear that.
But we hope that all community radio stations will be able to
regularly contribute to the Getmedia platform.

Anyone who wants to upload media to Getmedia just needs to get in
touch with either me or Grenville at getmedia at commedia.org.uk for a
username/password and then you will be able to share your content with
the world.

Those facilities are already built into Getmedia - see what's been
uploaded already! Users can also leave comments.

I'll hope that you'll agree that the Getmedia platform is better!

PRX is a great site but you need to register and sign in to be able to
preview shows. With Getmedia you can play the file directly using the
built-in Flash player :o)

Great - I'll send you out some admin details shortly!

So please send us the best of your content that you want to syndicate
with other supporters of community media - that's listeners, community
stations, community learning centres and community projects.

Share your media with Getmedia!
