Community radio, television and new media are growing quickly in the  
UK. The Community Media Association is the UK membership body for  
community media organisations and individuals. CMA members work in  
sound and radio, television and moving image and new media. The CMA  
supports members, organises campaigns and raises awareness of  
community media issues.  We also engage in projects to increase the  
understanding and use of media by people in the wider community.

We are currently seeking to fill two part-time posts to support this  
interesting and varied work.  Both posts are based in a small  
friendly office in Sheffield, some travel may be required.

+ INFORMATION & MULTIMEDIA OFFICER – Ref. IM1006
Permanent Post - Salary NJC Scale Point 26, £20,895 per annum pro  
rata for 21 hours per week (actual salary for 21 hours £12,537 per  
annum)

This is a permanent post, to assist with the design, layout and  
copywriting of CMA publications and promotional material, marketing  
and events organisation and maintaining and updating the CMA website  
and other related media.  You will need good experience of using  
design packages and web content management systems, excellent PR and  
communications skills, excellent literacy and ICT skills and the  
ability to manage your workload effectively.

+ FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATOR – Ref. FA1006
Temporary Post to 31st March 2007 - Salary NJC Scale Point 22,  
£18,450 per annum pro rata for 21 hours per week (actual salary for  
21 hours £11,070 per annum)

To assist with the CMA’s day to day financial administration,  
including book-keeping, cash control, sales and purchase ledger  
management and general accounting.  You will need a good  
understanding of financial controls, excellent numeracy and literacy  
skills and experience of maintaining and developing manual and  
computerised accounting systems.
