 Ofcom has announced the award a new community radio licence in Cheshire



A licence has been awarded to The Cat, for a service in Nantwich and Crewe
in Cheshire. The licence has been awarded for a five-year period.

Ofcom has awarded a community radio licence to:

 *The Cat (The Cat Community Radio Limited)*

*Contact name:* Mr Chris Radford

*Website:* www.thisisthecat.com

*Postal address:* The Cat, Frederick House, Beam Heath Way, Nantwich, CW5
6PQ

The Cat will provide a community radio service for Nantwich, Crewe and
surrounding  villages in Cheshire.

The licence is awarded for a five-year period.
