BANG (http://www.bangradio.fm) is a social enterprise based in the
London Borough of Brent that aims to address youth social exclusion
through training, development & broadcast. BANG primarily provides
young people with training in music & media, as well as a medium to
express themselves through its own radio station, BANG Radio 103.6FM.
BANG has established an excellent reputation, helping hundreds of
young people to achieve their full potential, and has achieved
significant success, being awarded a 10 year community radio licence
by Ofcom in March 2006. In November 2008 BANG Radio was awarded The
Nations & Regions Award (London Branch) for Best Local Radio Station
2008.

We offer both accredited and non-accredited training courses, which
can be delivered over a day, a week or a term. Our courses are
accredited by City & Guilds, the Open College Network (OCN) and the
Oxford, Cambridge and RSA Examinations Board (OCR). Training is
usually delivered at one of our well equipped premises. Learning
activities are innovative and enjoyable, and are tailored to suit
different user groups or funding outputs.

We are currently looking for a part time Connexions Intensive PA to
provide ongoing support, signposting, information, advice and guidance
to the young people that use our training services.

Applicants should have experience of working with young people who
would be considered NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training),
working in small to medium sized voluntary and/or public sector
organisations and possess the interpersonal skills required to develop
a rapport with young people.
