Community radio licensing and the Community Radio Fund

Ofcom today invites applications for community radio licences in
Scotland and Northern Ireland.  The closing date for applications is 16
January 2007. For further information and details on how to apply,

The Community Media Association is working with Ofcom and licensed 
Community Radio stations across the United Kingdom to provide training, 
advice and support for groups applying to Ofcom's second round of 
Community Radio licensing. For further information visit the CMA's 'Get

Separately, Ofcom's Community Radio Fund Panel is inviting community
radio operators to apply for grants from the Fund.  The closing date for
Fund applications is 21 November 2006.

Community radio stations which have already been awarded grants from
this Fund will need to complete a report back form at the end of the
period for which the funding was granted.
