To find out the latest estimate for dates for assessing applications from
your area, the simplest thing to do is to ring Lawrie Hallett or Soo
Williams at Ofcom and they will be able to tell you how things are
progressing. The process has two stages - assessing applications and
frequency availability within and adjacent to a particular area. Because
of the interdependency of these factors as well as the large numbers of
applications from areas like Manchester and London it is not easy to
predict how long the process will take which is why the estimated dates
