Workshop discussion session (11.45 - 13.00)

New services for a new generation of Community Radio stations

Participants in this workshop will review Ofcom’s licence application 
process and they will discuss the services that the CMA should offer to 
the UK’s first Community Radio stations next year. The workshop will 
also look at the possibility of using the Showcase as a platform for 
programme exchange between Community Radio stations.

The CMA Conference and AGM is an annual policy event to discuss 
developments within the Community Media sector. The day includes the 
latest news from the sector, lively discussion sessions and an 
opportunity for CMA Members to elect the CMA Council for the forthcoming 
year.  The Conference 2004 and AGM is being organised with support from 
New Style Radio in Birmingham.
