Community Radio Licence Application and Community Radio Fund
Consultation Update: Lawrie Hallett, Ofcom

Lawrie Hallett, Ofcom Senior Associate for Community Radio will give an 
update on the Community Radio Licence applications and the Community 
Radio Fund.  Lawrie joined Ofcom this year to work specifically on
Community Radio matters. He is one of the main authors of Ofcom's 
Community Radio licence application forms and he will take the lead on 
Ofcom's forthcoming consultation on the Community Radio Fund.

This is an excellent opportunity to find out more about responses to the
application deadline for the UK's first full time Community Radio
Licences and Ofcom's forthcoming consultation on the Community Radio Fund.

The CMA Conference and AGM is an annual policy event to discuss
developments within the Community Media sector. The day includes the
latest news from the sector, lively discussion sessions and an
opportunity for CMA Members to elect the CMA Council for the forthcoming
year.  The Conference 2004 and AGM is being organised with support from
New Style Radio in Birmingham.
