Our chums in the Media section of UNESCO in Paris are seeking proposals
from people interested in being their World Radio Co-ordinator - Sept-March
based at their offices...

Summary:

13 February of each year is World Radio Day — a day to celebrate radio as a
medium, to improve international cooperation between broadcasters, and to
encourage major networks and community radio alike to promote access to
information, freedom of expression and gender equality over the airwaves.

The UNESCO Section for Media Development and Society is currently seeking
through a call for proposals

highly-experienced and motivated individual to coordinate World Radio Day
2018, from September to March 2018, under the theme "Sports and Radio".

The contractee will be responsible for developing and implementing the
World Radio Day 2018 campaign strategy, and fostering and tracking
worldwide participation of partner organisations, radio and other media,
sports associations, governments, UN agencies, and other relevant
institutions. They will also develop and manage an engaging, modern website
and a set of high qualty campaign materials, all in multiple languages.

The position would allow a contractee who is passionate and knowledgeable
about radio and sports to contribute on a global level to the advancement
of issues relevant to the topic, and apply their existing skills and
experience in coordinating major international campaigns.
