[cma-l] studio air conditioning

I agree with you about the desirability of keeping the gear cool Phil, but what about the electricity cost? Have you assessed that?

When I last looked, a small split conditioner in typical circumstances would cost at least £200 a year run, possibly double that. Worth bearing in mind the efficiency of the chosen air conditioner, as its electrical cost could easily outweigh its purchase cost in a couple of years.

Air con in the studio is a must! We've installed two split air conditioners in two different studios and would never be without them.
Keeps the equipment and the presenter at a constant temperature - vital for top performance, and so easy to install. If you can use a spanner and a screwdriver, it's dead easy.

Purchased through CPC supplied by the air conditioning centre, less than
£500.00 and completely silent. You'll never regret it. Any advice - just contact me.
