I was simply reading how it was being sold

I'd love to Bill - but not at that money!

And I don't do competitions - sorry

Thank you, Ian.

If you think the Radio Festival consists of some 'big boys' back-slapping each other and poking fun at the community radio sector then you probably need to go and find out for yourself. Last year, the CMA was name-checked by the Director of the British Library within the first few minutes of the event and our friends at the Prison Radio Association was given a prominent platform.

But this has given me the chance to say that the CMA is delighted to be able to offer one ticket each to two CMA members who send their name through to festival at commedia.org.uk<mailto:festival at commedia.org.uk> by Friday 5th May.

Two winners will then be selected at random.

All entrants would need to have registered as members of the Radio Academy by contacting the CMA office for a code and then contacting Radio Academy.

All the best

Call me cynical - but £120 and a £32 ticket to London to be told how good everyone else is and how we are still very much the poor relation?

Hmmm!

It could just be worth it to get something back off PRSfM and PPL though!
But Who T F will pay £250?

Radio and TV presenter, Colin Murray, is to host this year’s Radio Festival, the annual celebration of all things audio, which will once again be taking place at the British Library on May 23rd.

The festival, organised by The Radio Academy and supported by sponsors PRS for Music and PPL, brings together leading figures and experts from across the media and UK audio industry to hear from a string of high-profile speakers and guests talking on the theme ‘Stand-Out!’

Radio Academy is offering Early Bird tickets exclusively to Academy members @ £120 plus VAT - to access these tickets CMA members will need to register with Radio Academy (contact the CMA office for the code to use). But you'll have to be quick as the Early Bird deadline is close of business on Monday.

>From Tuesday the Members price will be £165 plus vat and £250 plus vat for non-members.
