[cma-l] Funding News - £49.6 Million #iwill Fund launched

The Big Lottery Fund, together with the Government, Comic Relief, Pears
Foundation and UK Community Foundations have announced a new A £49.6
million #iwill Fund to help increase the number of young people taking part
in social action.  Managed by the charity Step Up To Serve, the #iwill Fund
we will be releasing different waves of funding, delivered and distributed
by the partners. The first three partners to release funding will be the
Pears Foundation who will be supporting activity within education, health
and social care as well as scaling and supporting successful models to grow
or sustain.

The UK Community Foundations will create small grants for local social
action opportunities through their network of 43 Community Foundations
across England.  More information at:

Comic Relief will develop opportunities for young people from areas and
backgrounds currently least likely to participate; working in co-production
with young people over the next few months to design the initiative to
