[cma-l] Funding News: Power to Change (England only)

[CMA-L]

Power to Change have announced that their Community Business Fund will be
open again from *26th April to 1st June*. Grants between £50,000- £300,000
are available to support and develop community businesses in England. There
will be a further two funding rounds in July and October 2016.

Full criteria were published on 5th April and an enquiries line has been
opened.

Last year only 5 per cent of the applications were funded. Over two-thirds
of applications were rejected because they didn't meet the definition of a
community business:

   - locally rooted
   - accountable to the local community
   - broad community impact
   - trading for the benefit of the local community
