The CreateUK report, published by the Creative Industries Council in 2014,
made several key recommendations for improving creative education and
careers advice for young people and those who influence them. It sets out
a vision for a collaborative, joined-up approach from industry and
associated organisations that gives young people the best chance of a
fulfilling career and builds a talent pipeline that enables continued
industry growth and success.

Creative Skillset, on behalf of the Creative Industries Council, is now
conducting further research in order to develop a comprehensive picture of
schools, education and careers activity, priorities and challenges across
the creative and cultural landscape. This will help to improve access to
information and opportunity for young people; encourage collaboration
within and across sectors; enable strategic connections beyond the Creative
Industries and identify opportunities for developing and increasing
activity.

Please support this important work by completing this short survey. The
information you provide will inform the Creative Industries Council's
priorities and action in this space. It will also be made available to you
to inform your own work.
