[cma-l] Five community radio licence awards in the East of England: June 2015

Ofcom's Broadcast Licensing Committee ('BLC') awarded five community radio
licences in June 2015. The licences are for services in the East of England
region.

Ofcom's BLC made a licence award to each of the following:

   - Peterborough FM (PACO Ltd), Peterborough
   - Salaam Radio (Salaam Radio Ltd), Peterborough
   - Brecks FM (Watton Radio Community Interest Company), Watton, Norfolk
   - Park Radio (Park Radio Limited), Diss and Harleston, South Norfolk and
   Eye, Mid Suffolk
   - Radio Castle (Castle Community Radio CIC), Framlingham, Suffolk

These services will be licensed for a period of five years from the date of
their launch. All five services will be licensed to broadcast on FM.

*Peterborough FM* (PACO Ltd)
Peterborough FM will provide a service to those who live, work or study in
the locality of the city of Peterborough.

*Salaam Radio* (Salaam Radio Ltd) in Peterborough
Salaam Radio will provide a community radio service that will be
predominantly for the Muslim population of Peterborough.

*Brecks FM* (Watton Radio Community Interest Company) in Watton, Norfolk
Brecks FM will provide a locally-focused service for the town of Watton in
Norfolk, and surrounding villages.

*Park Radio* (Park Radio Limited) in Diss, Harleston and Eye in Norfolk
Park Radio will serve the rural communities of Diss, Harleston and Eye and
surrounding villages located near the border between Norfolk and Suffolk.

*Radio Castle* (Castle Community Radio CIC) in Framlingham, Suffolk
Radio Castle will provide a service for the general population of
Framlingham in Suffolk, and surrounding villages.
