As I have pointed out to Andy at Bay
. We can get excited about restriction
number one, I’d bet £100 quid that that will be flopped off the plank with a
splash, (it will go go gone / bye bye blackbird ) as for the rest, no I
ain’t getting excited as what my concern is, is that we may have been
offered stuff on the table that fills us up and sidelines the main course.

The four pointers that I made in the long winded e-mail are the key babies

sort them out and we have SUCCESS stamped all over our foreheads.

Regards

Nick

Should we be getting unrealistically excited? Surely not more funding for
community radio?

Brilliant!,

Hopefully they'll sort something out before more stations close. Very sad
news about Indigo closing.

To CMA members,

This is to let you know that The Department of Culture, Media and Sport
(DCMS) contacted me this morning.

We can expect a ministerial announcement from Ed Vaizey at the end of next
week regarding the long awaited Community Radio Order.

We’ll bring you more information when we have it.

Best to all,

Dom Chambers
Chair
