[cma-l] issues with over night playlist and remote access

Another reply to Hillz Radio:

This is what we do at Susy:

Remote management, we either use logmein.com, Teamviewer or Parallels
Access to control the systems. They are secure encrypted connections over
the internet and have served us well for over 2 and a half years. A good
internet connection is a must really and having just upgraded to BT fibre
it makes remote management easy and reliable. Although I was able to
manage the systems, albeit needing some patience, when our broadband was
slower!

Overnights, we let Myriad run in auto mode. We have a mixture of back to
back and pre recorded full programmes which are scheduled and play out
seamlessly. The system brings in the news and ads and again has performed
brilliantly since the start. A big up to Myriad again here!

Essentially any system that runs on a PC platform can be remote controlled
in this way... How did we ever manage in the days of CDs, records, Carts
etc??

Hope this helps,

Geoff
