Dear all

I'm in a position of having used both

Each have there pros and cons so to speak

RCS
Expensive agreement
Myriad purchase out right
RCS operator ease of use
Myriad very easy to use
RCS programming and scheduling clumsy
Myriad straight forward
Both require a bolt on for add scheduling
Communication with both companies good when in need of tech support

Problem is with people who do not understand PCs and playout systems when it comes to training and this is where Myriad in my eyes wins. The basic level of knowledge required to operate successfully is great. Both systems o have there quirky points but my preference is Myriad for ease of use for both operator and scheduler and simple to correct issues on the fly!

Hope this helps
