Young women from Bristol get their first taste of radio via FemFMFutures project and Ujima Radio.

Make sure you're near a radio tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11am to hear "Women on the Waves" an exciting new project from @Femfmfutues and Ujima Radio 98FM www.ujimaradio.com<http://www.ujimaradio.com/>
Please share with your friends and if you tweet please follow us @ femfmfutures.
The training course was funded by a grant from Quartet Community Foundation Bristol. The photo taken when the group visited Radio1Xtra and interviewed presenter Adele Roberts there as well as other role models from presenters and producers who originally started out with Fem Fm in 1992.
The women also have local radio mentors to help them progress in radio in the future
