[cma-l] Ofcom Broadcast Code Compliance Workshop - 17th May 2014

In partnership with the Community Media Association, the Media Trust's Local360
Network <http://local360network.mediatrust.org/> is delivering a 1-day
intensive workshop on compliance with the Ofcom Broadcast Code for
community radio stations across the UK.

The workshop is delivered by Lawrie Hallett – Senior Lecturer in Radio at
the University of Bedfordshire and former Senior Associate in the Ofcom Radio
team with special responsibility for community radio. It aims to enhance
awareness of compliance issues regarding Ofcom regulations and to provide
community radio stations with up-to-date and essential information required
to operate on air.

*1st session:* Ofcom Code overview and key areas of importance.
 Start: 11.00

 Lunch: 13.00 – 14.00 (provided)

 *2nd session:* systems, structures and rules for compliance (group work
and practical sessions)
