I did the survey - but it's essentially very limited in its questioning. There is a panel to add your own comment - so now's your chance! It would be fascinating to be a fly on the wall when they're all read - if indeed they ever are.

Subject: [cma-l] The future of the BBC: have your say

Guardian survey - lend your voice to a crucial debate on the future of the BBC, happening at this autumn’s party conferences

British people’s viewing and listening habits have changed
dramatically over the past decade as new technologies, and the platforms
and entrants which they generate, have transformed the choice of
options open to them.

Given this backdrop of change, and considering that the BBC’s royal
charter will be up for renewal in 2016, The Guardian newspaper will be hosting
fringe events within each of the three major party conferences this
autumn, to debate the future of the BBC and its governance.

To frame this debate, The Guardian wants to hear from media professionals from
all sectors, to find out how the industry feels about the BBC, today and
tomorrow. The Guardian would like to hear your thoughts via a short survey. The findings will be published on the Media Network in September ahead of
the party conferences, and it will influence the party conferences
debate.

Make your voice heard in a crucial debate for our industry.
