Hi Mark,

We used FSN for a while, but switched to 'Sky RN' because it's the 
industry standard and you get lots of benefits. the 'net newsroom' is 
first class. We use the 'show prep' too! (although the website's a bit 
clunky, I think it's getting a makeover soon)
Regarding local news, we have a deal with our local newspaper. We also 
get stories from Google Alerts for our local area. We have a presenter 
who then gets the stories and mp3s individual stories which the 
breakfast presenter (ME!) stitches together into a local bulletin 
(usually three or four stories) for the half past slot. By having 
separate stories they can be mixed and matched in Adobe Audition so we 
don't have the same bulletin every half past. it works well for us as an 
important part of our community commitment.
