[cma-l] Working with Local Authorities

Hi everyone,

I’ve just been reading some Ofcom Annual Reports where they say 11% of revenue comes from SLAs – typically between a community station and their local authority.

It’s something I’d like to explore for Wycombe Sound both for our next RSL and our full application. I would welcome input, advice, top tips, experience from anyone who has negotiated such an agreement. (I’ve never come across it myself despite being involved with 6 different community stations over the years!).

I’d like the local authority’s buy-in at the start, rather than using all their very informative content and then trying to get grant funding later!

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Regards,
Pippa
