Call for artists – community radio, arts and science commission

Bolton at Home is seeking an artist or creative collaboration to develop 
and deliver a project that brings together art, science and technology 
to engage local residents in a community radio station broadcasting from 
2nd to 5th November 2011 on the Johnson Fold estate in Bolton. The aim 
of the project is to spark the imagination of the community and to raise 
the visibility of the radio broadcasts amongst local residents, 
ultimately increasing listener numbers as well as encouraging new 
volunteers for Johnson Fold FM. The project might take the form of a 
temporary public art piece, an event or a performance, but we welcome 
proposals in any artform that can bring art and science (particularly 
around radio broadcasting) together in a fun and inspiring way. The
