I'm a writer working with East Leeds FM developing the Spoken Word side 
of the radio station. We have been commissioned by Leeds City Council to 
work with our young volunteers on a performance piece for Holocaust 
Memorial Day. Apparently the thing that won us the commission was our 
idea of looking at the role radio has played in keeping hopes alive in 
repressive societies. We would like to take a true story or incident and 
base our dramatisation upon it. Does anyone have any stories about radio 
stations in such environments from any country or period of history? Or
