Following on from our project Voices of Black British Veterans, funded by Quartet Community Foundations and the Bristol Legacy Commission and presented and co-produced by Cyrus, an independent film company from London came across the audio and information on the BCfm website and wanted to follow on from the stories they heard to produce a documentary film.  They have put together this trailer which they will be taking to various film festivals and funders around Europe to try to raise the funds to produce the documentary film.   

It is so great to see just how powerful and informative Community Radio can be at its best and in particular that this project is still being listened to and talked about and the stories of our Veterans are still being told, and remarkably, how these particular men are still laughing.
