MEDIA 2007 —Support for the Implementation of Pilot Projects (UK)
The European Commission has issued a call for proposals under its Media 
2007 programme to support the
implementation of pilot projects.  Under this call for proposals, up to 
€1.5 million is available to support pilot
projects that:

·  develop new ways of creating and distributing European audiovisual 
content via non-linear services
·  open the media production environment
·  use of web techniques to develop local cinema communities
·  widen and improve the access and the exploitation of structured 
information of European audiovisual
content across multiple databases.

The duration of pilot projects can be 12, 24 or 36 months. The closing 
date for applications is the 14th June 2011.
