Now over half way through the festival, and it's all going very
well. We've been doing live sessions from the Glasgow Royal Concert
Hall from 11am-7pm every day, followed by prerecorded gigs, and
then repeating the "daytime" content overnight. We've had a team of
our regular presenters manning the OB desk in the concert hall,
and even "guest presenters" from other community radio stations doing
a shift!

I've lost count of the number of performers and festival-goers who
have dropped by for an on-air chat.

We've had some fantastic feedback from the UK-wide DAB coverage - including
the following from a listener in Basildon, Essex:

: "I had almost given up on DAB radio down here in Essex until I found
: you on PopUp. I can honestly say that in the two days I've been
: listening I've not heard anything that I didn't like. All I can say
: is that the people of Glasgow are blessed. Come on, make it a
: permanent thing, the whole nation should be able to listen to this.."

and then when we explained that we were Community Radio:

: I understand now why I like it so much, when you say it's volunteer
: run, as a listener you can hear the lack of Ego in the presenters
: voices and the enthusiasm for the music content is something that
: is very rare on radio these days.

It's getting feedback like that that makes this all worthwhile.

Anyway - one more week to go. Tune in if you get a chance!
