[cma-l] CMA Promo

HI all,

Some great feedback and questions so far about the promo/trailer/advert ¨C whatever the members decide it should be!

keep them coming ¨C both those for and those that question the need (this is really important feedback).

I will feedback and give some recommendations/ideas once I have a general consensus.

After 15 years of existence I still have to explain to my local authority that we are a non-profit community radio station, and not a commercial radio station.

So I doubt a radio advert will help that task further, but maybe we could tattoo an advert on the councillors' heads?

  I have a great fear that this is going to be a classic committee excercise.
  Please remember that a camel is said to be a horse designed by a committee.
  Is there any point in publicising Community Radio as a total entity - and only to people who are already listening to Community Radio? 
  By the same token - is there any point in publicising the CMA to people who are unlikely ever become its Clients?
